Foreman

The Foreman is responsible for directing field employees and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive jobsite environment. The Foreman will support the immediate supervisor in all aspects of field operations and serve as a leader and mentor to the crew.

This position operates out of our Whiteland field office.

Primary Responsibilities

  •  Direct and supervise employees and crew members on assigned projects. 
  •  Take full responsibility and accountability for crew performance, productivity, and safety. 
  •  Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine scope of work, material quantities, locations, and installation requirements. 
  •  Instruct skilled mechanics and labor personnel to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards. 
  •  Plan and coordinate daily work activities to maintain schedules and productivity goals. 
  •  Ensure all work meets or exceeds company and customer standards. 
  •  Enforce all jobsite safety policies and procedures and maintain familiarity with the project safety plan. 
  •  Conduct and support safety training and promote safe work practices at all times. 
  •  Prepare and submit timesheets, safety reports, quality reports, quantity reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time. 
  •  Motivate and develop employees to maintain a productive and positive work environment. 
  •  Support immediate supervisors in effectively managing project operations and crew performance. 
Qualifications

  •  Minimum of 6 years of experience in the industrial construction and/or maintenance industry. 
  •  Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred. 
  •  NCCER Certified Plus preferred. 
  •  Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. 
  •  Knowledge of industrial construction safety standards and practices. 
  •  Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
Compensation: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
